“Don’t settle.”

I said those words to someone today and I’ve been thinking about it ever since.  Don’t settle.  It means: don’t give up on your dreams just because obstacles have gotten in your way.  Don’t accept less than what you deserve.  Pursue your heart’s desire.  Be happy.  Be fulfilled.

Not settling is probably the hardest thing in the world to do because it’s so damn easy to rationalize it.  Settling is not okay.  Settling sucks.

Don’t settle.  Those words are as much for me as they are for the person I said them to today.

“Don’t settle” could be my theme for this week. It’s funny that you should blog about it too. I’ve told someone that, applauded a friend who DID that and am facing my own decision not to settle. You’re right… it’s a tough one.

    BUT Sooooo worth it!

    Thanks, Kristina, for the reminder!
