Autumn is here! To celebrate, I got up at 6 a.m. What fun! (You can
hear the sarcasm in my voice, right?)
I’ve been tweaking my web page a little, not that you’d notice. I’m itching for a new look, but I don’t have the time to mess with it right now, nor the money to pay someone else to mess with it. So, I’m just making little changes here and there to satisfy the urge until I have a few hours to devote to it.
As I’ve mentioned before, fall is when I start new projects. Some would say I start
projects in the fall. It’s just my way. I’ve been cleaning closets and drafting stories and planning holidays (Halloween party, maybe?) and pulling out recipes and making lists of dozens of other things I want or need to do before the end of the year. It makes sense that in addition to my recent hair cut, I’d be ready for a new look here, as well (not that my new ‘do is all that different from the old ‘do…). Just not this week. Besides, I’m not even sure what kind of look I’m going for. Suggestions?
Speaking of fall, I’m craving the Pasta Fagioli I made last year. I had a less impressive version last week from a pre-packaged mix I got at Harry & David. Even though I added some ingredients to the mix, it wasn’t nearly as good as the fresh-from-scratch recipe I picked up from Joelle. I modified her recipe slightly (because I can never leave a recipe alone) and made the most amazing soup. Maybe this weekend…
Where ever you are, I hope your autumn is filled with crisp days, chilly nights and comfort food. And a project. Everyone needs a project.
