I’m So Dizzy

The Easter Bunny came.  He brought me chocolate… and vertigo.  I woke up this morning with my head spinning without the benefit of alcoholic assistance.  Fun stuff.  I’ve had vertigo for years (and the doctors can’t find an underlying cause), but I’m usually lucky enough to go several months between bouts.  Unfortunately, this is the second time in about two months that I’ve woken up feeling like I’m falling off the edge of the world.

My vertigo lasted for nearly a week last month, so this time I decided to try something I read about months ago—the Epley Maneuvers.  I was a little skeptical, but I have a million things to do this week and feeling dizzy and nauseous aren’t on the list, so I gave it a try.  The result?  I threw up.  But the good news is, the vertigo

seems

to be gone.  I’m still feeling nauseous, but the world isn’t spinning any more.  Maybe it worked.  I guess I’ll find out when I wake up in the morning.
