Things That Suck:

Starbucks, for closing at 10:30 when I really needed coffee before seeing Star Wars: Episode 3 at midnight last night.

—People who expect me to babysit and then clean up after their children.  I am not a babysitter, a child care provider or a maid.  I work in a

, people.

—Networks that cancel excellent, thoughtful, intelligent television shows in favor of idiotic crap.

—Feeling like I never have enough time to write as much as I want.

The L-Word and Gilmore Girls are finished for the season.

Things That Do Not Suck:

—Having five days off from the library.  To write.  To read.  To not clean up after anyone except myself.

—Surprisingly, Star Wars: Episode 3.

—My run of recent writing sales.

—Being able to see the light at the end of the tunnel, even if it’s a still a long way off.

I’m afraid to see Epsisode 3. because 1 and 2 were so awful. I don’t want to spend money on it.

I saw 1 in the theatre when I was eleven. It helped cure me of a fear of getting abducted by aliens (too much “In Search Of…”). Call me a geek, but I feel betrayed by Lucas… grin

I envy anyone who has a spare 30 minutes to write, and SWE III rocked!

i was especially happy with the seeming effort to tie up most, if not all, of the connections, in episode III.
i just watched g.g. for the first time the other night, cuz i was bored, and just trying to keep up with the snappy dialogue made me tired, sigh.
    must be getting old, eh?
