You Say You Want a Revolution?

Before the fall…

Parliament Across the Thames.jpg

It was a little disconcerting watching the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben being blown up in V for Vendetta last night.  I do love those slick, stylish, graphic novel movies, though.  My favorite line?

A revolution without dancing is a revolution not worth having.V

Remember that when you’re planning your next revolution.  And don’t forget to invite me.

I’ve been meaning to see that movie. I love your photographs, particuarly the hooded woman with the very sad expression.

Puts a whole new spin on the line “I hope you dance…”

    No kidding, Carter!

Glad you like the photos, Amy.  I have a few hundred more, but I’ll spare you most of them!  I wish I had an eye for photography like some people I know, but I end up cropping things out and adjusting the brightness and whatnot to get a reasonably decent picture.  As for the marble woman in Bath Abbey—no kidding, I just stood there staring at her.  I had tears in my eyes when we left the Abbey, I was that overwhelmed with emotion.  There is such a strong presence in that church, if you believe in those things.  Odd that I didn’t feel the same at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in Dublin.
