Making Progress?

Okay, so the sidebar is back. Sometimes. Sporadically. That’s the frustrating part, I can’t figure out the deciding factor for whether the sidebar will appear or not. Hmm. MT and my hosting company haven’t been much help, technically speaking. I’m hoping that, like so many other things (the flashing “Air Bag” light on my dashboard, for instance), my blog will magically fix itself, thereby leaving me to do what I do best: ramble on about things no one really cares about.
Taking off for North Carolina in a couple of days, for a couple of days. Another beach, with coffee nearby. Perfect, I think. After that, I’m off to celebrate Rose’s 40th birthday with a relaxing spa weekend, including afternoon tea, massages, champagne and Sunday buffett brunch. I’m sure there will be coffee, too. It’s as much a present for myself as it is for her. (Sshh… don’t tell her that!) The Chicago trip comes about two weeks after that, wherein I will try to experience all the Windy City has to offer and also drink coffee! (Can you tell I was very traumatized by my lack of coffee intake in St. Thomas? C’mon, I’m an insomniac! I need coffee to boost my natural insomnia, otherwise this is just “Musings of a Writer.”)
In between the comings and the goings, I have writing and editing (for myself and others) to do. I’m hoping by the time the summer winds down and fall classes are starting that I will have logged more words than miles. That’s the goal, anyway.

For some people, coffee is more than just a morning pick-me-up: it’s a lifestyle. Coffee shop culture has become increasingly popular in the U.S. in the past few decades, as evidenced by the number of Starbucks stores and their competitors popping up like wildflowers across the urban and suburban landscape.

Thanks for this concept about making progress. I think that’s the frustrating part, I can’t figure out the deciding factor for whether the sidebar will appear or not. Thanks mate.
