Bend, Baby, Bend

My horoscope from a few days ago:

Willow trees survive storms, whereas sturdier types, like the oak, topple over. Why? Because willows are exceptionally flexible. They bend, then go back up. Take this information to heart right now.

I’m trying.

I’m feeling a very intense need to distance myself from humanity for a little bit (but not in a scary, Unabomber kind of way.  I like civilization too much—not to mention indoor plumbing and hair conditioner—to run off and live in the woods), so I’m incommunicado right now with everyone except Jay, who has to live with me.  Poor guy.  The best way to get in touch with me is through e-mail and even then I can’t promise an immediate response.  This is a temporary state of affairs, until I can clear my head.  Writing helps, talking doesn’t.  Such is my nature.
