Various and sundry written messages from my trip to London
This kind of sign is posted everywhere in London. Really.
. Um… where’s my purse? (Spotted in Caffe Nero)
This dentist’s office is in the bombed-out remains of a church. I’m curious about the special care they give nervous patients. Can I sign up? (Found near St. Paul’s Cathedral)
Someone had too much time on his hands. Or perhaps it was Hell Week at his fraternity. (Found in Cambridge)
This part of the Berlin Wall now stands in front of the Imperial War Museum. There is some sort of irony there, I think.
How would you like to be remembered in four thousand years as the jerk who wrote that nasty letter? (Read at the British Museum)
Now remember, people, no unauthorized use of Frankenstein. He’s tired. (Seen at the Tower of London)
We are very excited about the car! (Seen in Cambridge)
I have no idea what this means. Motorcycles will be flying overhead? And what the heck are bollards? I know what bollocks are and I know what collards are, but I do not know what bollards are. Good thing I don’t drive in England. (Another delightful Cambridge street sign)
