On the Horizon

Though it appears I have little to write about lately, that’s not exactly the case.  There are several exciting projects and opportunities on the horizon for me, all of which still need to be finalized before I start writing about them.  However, there are definitely things going on behind the scenes.  Cogs are turning, ducks are paddling, etc.

I predict it’s going to be a very, very busy fall for me, with just about everything I’ll be doing being a brand new experience.  It’s funny how every few years the slate gets wiped clean and I get to start over.  I don’t suppose that happens to everyone, so I feel pretty lucky when the opportunity arises to start anew.  My clean slates have most often coincided with a military move (new state/clean slate?), but this time it’s same place, clean slate.  Kind of cool, since I hate moving.

Most of the newness is self-engineered, but not all.  I’m ready for change and new challenges and it seems the universe is rewarding me by throwing some other opportunities in my path.  I’m excited by the possibilities.

    Kristina,
I’m glad to hear that you’re going to have a busy fall, idle minds are trouble.

Once, when I was idling, I built a shoe box out of popsicle sticks and potato chips.  I put a pair of Docs in said box, and began to eat the chips to see how many I could eat before the box burst forth with English footwear.

    Sounds like a fun autumn.
