Raindrops on Roses and Whiskers on Kittens

I did some holiday shopping with a friend today.  Though I’ve known her for two years she’s a relatively new friend, so we are still navigating the getting-to-know you stuff.  She’s a very A-type personality as opposed to my… gee, what’s the opposite of A-type?  Z-type?  No, maybe like M-type.  In any case, we’re pretty different in a lot of ways but we enjoy each other’s company and have fun hanging out.  Of course, I have to wait for her to slow down enough so that she can just hang out—but it’s fun when we do. 

So today we were shopping—me just looking, her just starting—and she commented that it felt like a luxury to just relax and go shopping (never mind that the mall was packed with crazed shoppers).  I told her she needed to do it more often—the relaxing part, not necessarily the shopping part.  We all do, I think.

(I know this is an entirely lame post, but I deserve credit for the photos matching the title and, um, I’ll do better tomorrow.  Now… I’m going to relax.)
