Monday, January 18th, 2010 • 1 Comment on My Reading List in Links
You know those memes that ask you to shuffle the songs on your iPod and list the first ten songs that pop up? I thought it would be fun to list the links open in my Safari browser. See, I click on interesting links I find via blogs and Twitter and Facebook and then minimize them for later reading (often while feeding baby). But sometimes it takes days to get around to reading and closing out those links. Here is a glimpse of what I’m reading and looking at online (or will be reading and looking at online, when I get a chance):
On Mashable, Sharing Your Bra Color is the New 25 Things on Facebook (link courtesy of Jennifer Smith of All Things Jennifer, which I’m woefully behind on reading)
Snow Across Great Britain (Link from someone on Facebook. I’ve already looked at it, but left it open in my browser because it’s an amazing picture!)
On Narrative, That Final Paper You Want From Me: A Story (link from Polly Frost, the author)
On the American Library Association website, the 2010 Caldecott (and Newbery) winners (link from Barnes & Noble)
On Fanhouse, Kevin Blackistone’s article As Vanity Fair Cashes in, Tiger’s Image Gets Tossed in the Gutter (link from someone on Facebook—fascinating commentary on Annie Leibovitz’s photographic portrayal—taken several years ago and now used by Vanity Fair—of Tiger Woods)
What links are in your browser?
