Boo!

Halloween is sadly over, with fewer trick-or-treaters than I hoped for.  I guess I shouldn’t be surprised.  With the way Halloween is regulated now (in my city, trick-or-treating is limited to kids 12 and younger, from dusk until 8 p.m.) and given that it fell on a Sunday this year, I should be happy for the thirty-something kids that did show up.  I’m nostalgic for the Halloweens of my childhood.  Ahh, the good old days.

Of course, this means I have leftover Halloween candy… about half of it chocolate.  There are worse things, I suppose.

I’m in the same boat as you. When I was younger kids came out in hoards, now its more of a slight trickle. Oh well. More candy for me. smile
