If you ever have an opportunity to see the Reduced Shakespeare company, I highly recommend you buy tickets for all your friends.  I saw their show when I was in London last year and it is truly one of the funniest theatrical performances I’ve ever attended.  PBS was airing a performance tonight and I’m still smiling.  Whether you know your Shakespeare or not, watching these guys interpret Shakespeare’s plays (37 plays in 97 minutes!) is an experience.  You haven’t really contemplated the universal appeal of Shakespeare until you’ve seen the histories performed as a football game or watched Hamlet… backward.
