HowwasYOURweek?

Is Mercury in retrograde?  Is there a full moon?  Is there some other explanation for the strange week I’ve had?

The week started with a ghost from the past trying to spook me and ended with an alien spaceship tearing across the eastern sky.  Okay, so the ghost from the past is just a bad memory and the alien spaceship was most likely a meteorite, but still.  Strange week.  Some good stuff in there, too.  But even the good stuff has had a kind of a surreal feel to it.

For the record, I thought the “meteorite,” or whatever the hell it was, was a tree branch falling on the roof.  I wasn’t particularly startled because I was engrossed in returning student essays and watching The No. 1 Ladies’ Detective Agency.  Oh well.  If it really was aliens, they’re going to have to do a little more to get my attention.

I’m not the only one who said they had a bizarre week.  Must be something in the water, hmm?

Here’s to Monday… and a less strange week. (But I’ll happily take the good stuff, surreal or not, thank you very much.)
