oh wow..thats so awsome.-..we rearly have rascals here in germany...never seen one in the wilderness and this close..just look at those little intelligent eyes...he looks at us as if he wanna say” i know you..i know you real good”..lol

Danielle~ This is actually a female raccoon. The females will come out during the day to forage for food for the weeks/months after they have babies. (Contrary to popular belief, they don’t just come out during the day because they have rabies!) She’s a regular and will come by in the morning and afternoon. Haven’t seen her babies yet.
There are a couple of other regulars and once in awhile there will be 6 or 7 of them, but lately it’s only 2 or 3. This one is tame enough to take a banana out of my hand.

I’m a sucker for animals.
What I want to know is, like small rodents and stuff, can they be fixed? How about snakes? ANY animals you know of that cant be fixed, either because they have risk of dying from the procedure, they may have risk from the anesthesia, it could affect them in the future, or any animals that vets just refuse to spay or neuter.
