oh wow..thats so awsome.-..we rearly have rascals here in germany...never seen one in the wilderness and this close..just look at those little intelligent eyes...he looks at us as if he wanna say” i know you..i know you real good”..lol

Danielle~ This is actually a female raccoon. The females will come out during the day to forage for food for the weeks/months after they have babies. (Contrary to popular belief, they don’t just come out during the day because they have rabies!) She’s a regular and will come by in the morning and afternoon. Haven’t seen her babies yet.
There are a couple of other regulars and once in awhile there will be 6 or 7 of them, but lately it’s only 2 or 3. This one is tame enough to take a banana out of my hand.
