--My Winterberry Snowflake Flannel Sheets look as good on the bed as they do in the package.  Better, even.  (Stay away from my sheets, Sommer!)

--Jennifer landed herself an incredible (and well-deserved!) job with a nonprofit organization!  I don’t think I’m supposed to mention the name, but it’s very, very cool.  Yay!  And, totally off the subject (ahem), Jennifer and I share an interest in the symphony and I discovered we also share JoAnn Falletta (in a manner of speaking) because she is the music director at both the Buffalo Philharmonic (where Jen lives) and the Virginia Symphony, which is located right down the road from me.

--My cold lingers.  It’s been one week.  I have tried to resist the seductive lure of cold medicine, but have succumbed to Nyquil for three nights and Dayquil only when I can’t think straight.

--I have it on good authority that I will get another chance at seeing Bruce and the E Street Band.  That makes me happy.

--While my cold lingers, my NaNoWriMo novel languishes.  I don’t know what happened.  I was off to a good start.

--Thanksgiving is sneaking up on me.  Gobble.  Gobble.  Can you smell the turkey?
